| JOB DESCRIPTION | The Quality Assurance Manager position involves the establishment, maintenance, auditing and documentation, and reporting of the quality management system. This position is a key management position and reports directly to the Operations Manager. |
| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES | The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing and auditing the quality management system. The auditing task must be at defined intervals and the documented findings reported at the management review meetings. The Q.A. Manager collects and maintains all quality records so that they are stored securely, clearly identified, and readily retrievable. The Q.A. Manager is also responsible for facilities upkeep, equipment calibration and lab maintenance, and general housekeeping. The Q.A. Manager is the key management representative during external and certification audits and accommodates all auditors for the duration of the audit. The Q.A. Manager is responsible for maintaining the relationship with calibration and maintenance suppliers and the service personnel of lab equipment suppliers. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. |
