| JOB TITLE | Lab Technician/Programmer |
| JOB DESCRIPTION | This position involves the inspection of manufactured components utilizing technical programming & metrology skills. The position also entails managing the technical aspect of assigned jobs through interaction with customers, communication with NPC management and staff, and organization of documentation. |
| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES | The Lab Technician/Programmer has the responsibility to manage the day-to-day activity of assigned projects. A Lab Technician/Programmer must be able to effectively utilize all NPC metrology tools to complete project requirements. A Lab Technician/Programmer will successfully complete assigned inspection projects “on time” and “within budget” to internal and customer standards. He / She will be required to full-fill administrative responsibilities defined by company standard operating procedures and work instructions including but not limited to creating supporting documentation on all assigned projects consistent with latest company policy. This position requires communication of current project status to the Operations Manager. Finally, the employee will be required to understand and work well within the hierarchy of the company and make every effort to maintain a professional and productive team working relationship with all coworkers |
| JOB AUTHORITIES |
This position has the authority to request administrative support for
assigned projects consistent with the job responsibilities of administrative
personnel and administrative policy. Lab Technicians/Programmers have the responsibility of completing assigned projects “on time” and “within budget” and therefore have the authority to contact customers regarding questions, requirements etc… |
