| JOB TITLE | Account Manager//Programmer |
| JOB DESCRIPTION | This position involves the inspection of manufactured components utilizing technical programming & metrology skills. The position also entails managing the technical aspect of assigned accounts through interaction with customers and organization of documentation. |
| JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES | An Account Manager/Programmer will successfully complete assigned inspection projects on time and within budget to internal and customer standards. The Programmer/Account Manager has the responsibility to manage the day-to-day activity of assigned accounts. He / She will correspond with customer engineers or quality personnel to relay technical information or resolve issues relating to assigned projects. Occasional quoting of jobs is performed by the Account Manager/Programmer. He / She will be required to full-fill administrative responsibilities defined by company standard operating procedures and work instructions including but not limited to creating supporting documentation on all assigned projects consistent with latest company policy. This position requires communication of current project status and incoming project status to the Operations Manager. Finally, the employee will be required to understand and work well within the hierarchy of the company and make every effort to maintain a professional and productive team working relationship with all coworkers. |
| JOB AUTHORITIES | This position has the authority to request administrative support for assigned projects consistent with the job responsibilities of administrative personnel and administrative policy. Account Managers/Programmers have defined responsibility for completion of assigned projects on time etc and by nature must have the authority to accept customer projects, arrange customer meetings, pick up and deliver projects, and schedule customer jobs for assigned accounts. (The scheduling of customer jobs however, should not adversely affect current production schedules without operations management approval). Account Managers/Programmers have the specific authority for establishing project pricing and quoting of assigned jobs. (Operations Management and then the President hold ultimate authority for project pricing). |
